Following the recent publication of Access Partnership’s Whitepaper “The Role of Satellite Communications in Disaster Management”, Head of Global Market Access, Juan Ignacio Cacace was interviewed by Débora Slotnisky, for FM Radio Cultura, about the importance of satellite technology to reducing the negative effects of climate change-induced natural disasters.
As the climate crisis unfolds, natural disasters across the world are increasing. It is therefore crucial that governments begin to open a dialogue with the private sector and key stakeholders to make satellite technology more available, planning ahead for the inevitable increase of natural disasters.
