Erik is Policy Manager on Access Partnership’s Policy Innovation team where he works on issues relating to national security, infrastructure policy, semiconductor policy, and U.S.-Asia relations. Prior to joining Access Partnership, Erik served as a policy advisor in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and as policy coordinator at the U.S. Department of Energy. His policy work focused on the industries of the future, including artificial intelligence, the Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States (CFIUS), emerging technology-related national security policy, and U.S.-Japan issues. Erik holds a B.A. degree from Temple University and an M.A. degree in Asian Studies from Georgetown University. He speaks English and Japanese.
