Lydia is a Policy Manager for Access Partnership’s UK and Europe team under the Policy Innovation pillar. Focusing mainly on EU policy, Lydia specialises in AI, data and privacy, cybersecurity, and IP. Prior to joining Access Partnership, Lydia worked as a lawyer in the European Patent Office (EPO).
Lydia completed her MA in International Relations specialising in European Union Studies at Leiden University, where she focused on Social Media platforms and EU governance. She has a legal background, having obtained her BCL in Law with French Law from University College Dublin and Aix-Marseille Université. Lydia has experience in both the private and public sector and specialises in EU law. She speaks English, French, and German.
