Prior to joining Access Partnership, Maria worked with several international think tanks, publishing original analysis on international affairs, global trade, and the relationship between technology and misinformation. She contributed to the Kremlin Watch project, analysing the influence of misinformation campaigns in Eastern Europe. Prior to this, she worked for the NATO Association of Canada, a think tank and advocacy group based in Toronto.
Maria holds a Masters of Science from the London School of Economics in Comparative Politics with a focus on Political Economy, and a BA in History from the University of Toronto. Maria works in English, French, and Greek.
