Meet Melissa

Melissa is a Policy Consultant in the Data Governance practice. She has advised clients on competition policy in digital markets and has experience in advocacy efforts across Latin America and the Caribbean. Melissa has conducted economic impact reports on cloud technology and the app economy. She specialises in data governance, platform regulation, and digital trade.

Prior to joining Access Partnership, Melissa gathered experience in government affairs and public policy working with clients such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mexico’s Ministry of Finance. This involved estimating the finance gap in the Sustainable Development Goals public and private expenditure.

Melissa holds a BA in Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey and completed an academic exchange programme at the Stockholm School of Economics. Melissa is from Mexico and is based in the London office. She speaks English and Spanish.
