Michael Khoo previously served as an Associate Research Director at TRPC. He is a graduate from the University of Sydney, where he spent a year and graduated with a Master of Political Economy. His overseas education has exposed him to the various schools of economic thought, many in contrast to that of mainstream orthodox economics today. Prior to that, Michael graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Economics.

His research interests include video gaming, intellectual property rights, social media, and next gen devices. He sees ICT as an integral part of the fabric of society today, particularly in promoting democracy and development.
