APEC Supply Chain Resilience

APEC Supply Chain Resilience

In the face of increasing trade complexity and disruptions across the globe, there is an urgent need to build greater resilience across supply chains today. This issue has become top-of-mind for many stakeholders – unsurprising given how cross-border trade has grown to be equivalent to half of GDP for most economies and that businesses now typically manage production across a wide network of markets. Recent disruptions, from the COVID-19 pandemic to the supply chain crisis of 2021, have also left economies and firms having to grapple with capacity issues in their extended supply chains.

Policymakers and businesses now have the opportunity to act and strengthen resilience in crucial areas of production through targeted intervention and cooperation. Access Partnership is committed to work with its partners in building resilient supply chains, including in areas such as consumer goods, consumer technology, healthcare, and food.

Follow this page to keep track of Access Partnership’s latest work in this area.
