Sharon McBride

Sharon McBride serves as Sr Director, Government Relations at eBay. She has been a political and issue advocacy professional for over 30 years. In her early career, she worked on Presidential, senatorial and gubernatorial political campaigns – managing a statewide campaign in her home state of Texas. Subsequently, Sharon worked on Capitol Hill for former Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) and former Congresswoman Anne Northup (R-KY). She was then recruited to work in the legislative practice group of Hogan & Hartson, (now Hogan & Lovells) where she managed a financial services coalition and assisted clients in the automotive and technology sectors. One of her clients there was eBay Inc. In 2003 she joined the eBay Washington D.C. office as one of the founding members of the Government Relations team.
