Matt and William wrote a book together in 2020 called “The IoT Myth” which looked at why the forecasts from 2010 of 50 billion devices were so far off. Three years later they catch up to see what has happened since. It’s an interesting story of the larger players somewhat giving up on IoT while the sector grows steadily as specialists provide complete solutions. William and Matt end up by being pleasantly surprised at actually how much has been connected.
