19 September, 09:00 to 18:00, County Hall, Belvedere Rd, London SE1 7PB

As developed nations face economic uncertainties and regulatory hurdles that limit tech growth, the focus is shifting towards emerging markets like LATAM, Africa, and the Middle East. These regions, with their low labour costs, favourable regulations, and burgeoning tech-savvy populations, are becoming hubs for innovation and investment. With strong government support, local start-ups are leveraging next-generation technologies to address regional issues, which may soon influence global trends.

Access Partnership’s annual Tech Policy Exchange will explore ways to significantly boost the technological prospects of emerging economies. The event will feature sessions covering a range of topics such as 5G connectivity, ethics in content moderation, digital trade, AI, and immersive technology. Government representatives, leading global organisations, and thought leaders will engage in discussions to address challenges and seize opportunities in these vibrant markets.

Please note that Tech Policy Exchange 2023 is an in-person event.
