9 December Webinar: Is it Yet Decision Time for 5G in Asia?

*UPDATE* This webinar has now been rescheduled to 9 December. We apologise for any inconvenience caused

5G is anticipated to be fundamental to digital transformation, yet many operators in Asia still appear to be trying to find the best business model for the transition. Many network operators are seeking to expand their offering beyond being a simple connectivity provider, instead focusing their business model on becoming an enabling platform supporting a broad range of applications and value-added services. This migration is largely driven by the boom in cloud services and consumer demand for quality of service and quality of experience. However, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, international trade tensions and national security concerns, there is an evident tide of emerging regulatory policy impacting the business models of different communications service providers.

What pathways will south-east Asian countries take to usher in 5G? Will they follow the paths now being explored by European or north Asian markets, or will they adopt a conservative, perhaps defensive, approach?

Join us for this webinar with a stellar all female line-up on 9 December in collaboration with Access Partnership to explore the economic impact of disruptive technologies and regulatory policy on the business models of 5G network operators and service providers.
