Simona’s main focus is on European Union policies, the political dynamics of national capitals in Europe, and a comparative perspective of how technology policies are shaped around the world. She provides insights and advice to decision-makers and companies in the ICT sector worldwide on topics such as AI, connectivity, data privacy, security, internet governance, and space.
Simona has an extensive background in EU policy and foreign affairs, having worked as an Advisor and Chief of Staff for a Member of the European Parliament and as a lobbyist for various organisations. She holds a Master’s degree in EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe in Bruges. Prior to that, she obtained a BA in Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Simona works in English, French, and Lithuanian, and is proficient in Russian and German.
