Nicholas has extensive experience in telecommunications and spectrum policy development. He is based in our London office.

Nicholas is an ICT policy expert with extensive experience in telecommunications and ICT policy development, spectrum management, and regulatory affairs. He is passionate about using the right mix of technologies, regulations, policies, and business models to extend connectivity and close the existing digital divide.
Before joining Access Partnership, Nicholas worked as a senior Policy Advisor and RF Engineer, managing policy advocacy campaigns, delivering spectrum management policy advisory services to various organisations, and drafting responses to public consultation documents from ICT regulatory authorities and ministries in Africa. He advocated for the implementation of standalone spectrum-sharing regulations in South Africa, which would lead to more efficient use of frequency spectrum. He further assisted in carrying out interference analysis for satellite D2D applications in the MSS band to support policy and regulatory engagements in Europe and parts of the Middle East.
Nicholas holds a Master’s degree in Satellite Communications Engineering from the University of Surrey (United Kingdom) and a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications and Information Engineering.
