Methodology – Economic Impact Report: Democratizing access to AI in Thailand with Google

Access Partnership is launching a series of Economic Impact Reports with Google to estimate the economic value of digital technologies, including Google’s products and solutions, in key economies in the APAC region. In line with the broad theme of “Creating societal impact through digital transformation,” each country report explores key societal challenges specific to the economy, identifies opportunities for relevant technologies to mitigate these challenges, and examines how Google is contributing to these areas. In addition, each report also details how Google’s products and services deliver significant benefits to businesses, households, and society.

As part of this series, Access Partnership published the Thailand report in November 2023, titled Economic Impact Report: Democratizing access to AI in Thailand with Google. As part of the research presented in the report, Access Partnership estimated the future economic benefits of technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), digital skills, and cybersecurity for Thailand in the year 2030, as well as the present economic benefits of using Google’s tools for businesses and society.
