Augustine has a depth of professional experience in the telecommunications industry, spanning technical, managerial, and regulatory aspects. He actively participates in the work of the International Telecommunications Union, where he was Vice Chairman of the Radiocommunications Advisory Group (RAG) 2019-2023. He is also an international keynote speaker on technology, regulation, and policy and has presented numerous keynote papers at international conferences, seminars, and workshops.
A qualified engineer, Augustine has been involved in various national telecommunications industry committees and working groups both in membership and chairmanship levels. Since 2024, he has served as the International Director, Digital Economy, for the International Association of World Peace Advocates, United Nations (UN) Economic & Social Council, (ECOSOC), USA. Augustine is also a fellow of the following bodies: the Nigerian Society of Engineers; the Nigerian Institute of ICT Engineers; the Institute of Management Consultants; the West African Society for Communications and Administration; the Institute of Corporate Administration of Nigeria; and the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
