Peter John Zimri is a South African consultant with over 30 years of extensive cross-sector international and domestic experience in telecommunication/ICT, broadcasting, and postal public policy and regulatory affairs.

Before joining Access Partnership, he served two four-year terms as an Executive Councillor at the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA). In this role, amongst others, he led various accomplishments, including overseeing the country’s inaugural multiband IMT spectrum auction. During his tenure at ICASA, he led the African Group (ATU) to the ITU World Radiocommunication Conference 2019 (WRC-19) and served as an Executive and Chairman of the Communications Regulators’ Authorities of Southern Africa (CRASA).
