Meet Viviana

Viviana Angel is a Manager at Access Partnership, working within the Tech-Enabled Verticals unit. She leads and supports projects in the health and life sciences sector across Latin America, helping clients shape policies and ecosystems that enable sustainable innovation and equitable access to healthcare technologies.

Before joining Access Partnership, Viviana held senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, she served as Associate Director of Marketing for Oncology – Women’s Cancer at MSD Colombia, where she led the development of cross-sector strategies to improve access to early diagnosis and treatment. She also served as Portfolio Director at Health-R Consulting and was Public Policy Manager for oncology and vaccines at MSD. Earlier in her career, she was Chief of Staff at the Colombian Ministry of Health and Social Protection, where she contributed to the design and implementation of impactful national health policies, including regulatory frameworks for access to medicines, health system governance, and patient-centred care.

Viviana holds dual master’s degrees in Public Policy and Public Affairs from the National University of Singapore and Sciences Po Paris. Her academic background and over 15 years of experience have shaped her expertise in strategic health policy, public-private collaboration, pharmaceutical access, and ecosystem transformation across the Global South. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
