The Opportunity
Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, sought to reduce regulatory inefficiencies across the Asia-Pacific by advancing convergence efforts through APEC. With varying regulatory requirements creating delays and complexity in market access, the client needed a long-term, region-wide strategy to support smoother, more harmonised approval processes.
The Solution
Access Partnership advised APEC’s Regulatory Harmonization Steering Committee (RHSC) to shape an agenda that addressed the sector’s regulatory pain points. We supported industry coalitions in engaging with regulators across all 21 APEC economies, delivered targeted training on emerging issues, and helped track progress through defined KPIs.
Through ongoing multistakeholder dialogues, we helped incubate policy solutions that are now recognised at the political level and strongly backed by key government stakeholders.
