Syahrini is a Senior Associate at Asia Group Advisors, an Access Partnership company, and is based in our Jakarta office. A trained consultant with extensive experience in government relations, corporate communications and regulatory affairs across the public and private sectors, she advises various global organisations and multinational corporations on navigating Indonesia’s dynamic regulatory landscape in the energy and extractive industries, sustainability, and public health.
Syahrini has over ten years of experience in the energy and extractives industry, especially in renewable energy, where she had a key role in the end-to-end development of a geothermal project, including land acquisition, Commercial Operation Date (COD), Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiations, EIA permitting, social licensing, and financial due diligence, among others. She also led the crisis communications task force and successfully overcame various sensitive situations related to occupational incident, demonstrations, loss of company assets, and others. Earlier in her career, she was involved in several REDD+, disaster relief and livelihood recovery projects.
Syahrini holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Community Development from the Bogor Institute of Agriculture.
