London (UK) [15 April] — Access Partnership and StateUp are pleased to announce they have entered into a global strategic alliance, combining Access Partnership’s broad global expertise in tech policy with StateUp’s sector-leading insights and advisory services on digital innovation with public purpose.

This collaboration will enable both organisations to scale to support the growing number of businesses and public bodies looking to gain greater efficiency and agility through digital transformation. The alliance will strengthen support to clients in industries such as public and local government, technology, telecom, financial services, and SMEs by offering joint counsel on policy and regulatory matters, general advocacy, public-purpose technology intelligence, programme design, and training.

“StateUp has deep expertise in innovation and counselling governments on digitalization projects”, said Christopher Casarrubias, Principal of Emerging Markets at Access Partnership. “Their deep technical expertise on technologies such as AI and Big Data and on the governance and management issues around technology adoption make them an excellent partner as Access Partnership expands its services in digital transformation.”

Dr Tanya Filer, Director of StateUp, commented: “As the world transitions towards a period of recovery, there has never been a more critical moment for governments and industry to think holistically about technology policy and digital transformation. In combining Access Partnership’s outstanding track record and contextual understanding of technology policy with StateUp’s expertise in public-purpose technology, we look forward to providing a unique and critical offering.”
