Access Partnership’s Policy Manager, Richard Upchurch, attended a meeting of the Space and Satellite Advisory Panel in Washington, D.C, as part of Bermuda’s delegation to discuss a draft of The Bermuda National Space Strategy 2020-2025. He will now be taking part in an upcoming workshop on the roles a national government can take in developing a sustainable space sector in Bermuda.
The workshop hosted by the Government of Bermuda and the Secure World Foundation, titled the Bermuda Space Sustainability Workshop 2020, will be held between January 22nd and 23rd. It will examine the key trends that are driving the increasingly commercial nature of the space domain, focusing on areas most relevant to a jurisdiction like that of Bermuda.
