The Opportunity
The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) engaged us to assess the economic impact of digitalisation on digital trade across member economies. With digital trade rapidly transforming markets, the client sought robust, evidence-based insights to support policy dialogue and enhance understanding of how digital technologies drive trade efficiency and economic integration in the Asia-Pacific region.
The Solution
Access Partnership produced a comprehensive economic impact report analysing digitalisation’s influence on digital trade flows and productivity across multiple APEC economies. To fill gaps in existing research, we developed a novel methodology to estimate digitalisation levels across APEC economies. This enabled a more precise analysis of digitalisation’s role in digital trade, combining economic modelling with sector insights to identify key drivers and policy levers.
