On 30 May, Access Partnership hosted a webinar on the far-reaching implications of AI-generated content and the platforms that facilitate its creation, such as ChatGPT. Moderated by Director of the Fair Tech Institute, and Emeritus Director of the Asia Cloud Computing Association (ACCA) Lim May-Ann, the event This webinar delved into the intricate challenges and considerations surrounding the use of artificial intelligence for content moderation.
The webinar examined the impact of content moderation on users’ freedom of speech, the need for fair and unbiased moderation, and the evolving regulatory landscape. The conversation also encompassed the complexities of moderating user-generated content, including considerations for different geographies and languages, and the mental health issues faced by human content moderators.
