Hector Huici Appointed as Senior Advisor for Latin America’s South Cone at Access Partnership

Former ICT Secretary of Argentina will advise Access Partnership clients on regulatory matters and government engagement in LATAM’s South Cone.

Hector Huici Appointed as Senior Advisor for Latin America’s South Cone at Access Partnership

Access Partnership, the leading global public policy consultancy firm for the tech sector, today announced that it has appointed Hector Huici, Partner of Pinedo & Huici, as Senior Advisor for the Latin America region. Based in Argentina, and with a longstanding presence in the LATAM ICT community, Huici will advise telecom and technology clients on navigating regulatory barriers and drive the adoption of policies that support digital transformation.

Huici has more than 30 years’ experience in the ICT sector working primarily with the Argentinian government. He has held high level positions including Information and Communications Technology Secretary of Argentina, where he was responsible for defining the telecommunications policy for the Government and lead the regulatory team that reviewed and updated ICT regulations, a 10-year spectrum roadmap proposal, including 5G, and was part of the Commission in charge to draft the Convergence Communications Act.

As a representative of the National Government in the ITU and a regular speaker at international forums, Huici has played a major role in the development of regulatory best practice, globally.
