Subject: Tax Environment Roundtable – importance to UK economy growth
Intellect UK and Access Partnership would like to invite you to a roundtable with HMT and UKTI to discuss the current tax environment of the UK, the implications for growth and its importance to inward investment on 16 May at 2pm.
In response to the significant rise in public debate around the tax environment in the UK for companies and individuals looking to work in the UK, Intellect and Access Partnership have arranged a roundtable of policymakers and industry representatives to discuss the changing environment and its impact on UK growth and attractiveness.
The purposes of the roundtable are to:
- create an informal forum in which stakeholders can understand trends and government perspectives of the public debate on tax policy as it relates to industry and specifically the technology sector;
- develop options for collective industry engagement with HMRC/HMT, Parliament, Cabinet Office on a tax policy to support growth in the technology sector, and
- anticipate the effect of this issue on other business activity (e.g. procurement).
Places are limited but please contact Carrie Hartnell on carrie.hartnell@intellectuk.org to request a place or for further information.
