Michael Clauser to drive thought leadership and client service in areas of cybersecurity, data privacy, cross-border data flow, and trust
Access Partnership, the world’s leading public policy firm for the tech sector, today announced that Michael Clauser has joined as its new Global Head of Data & Trust. Leading this global practice, Clauser will build out the firm’s solutions to bridge the trust gap between technology companies and consumers. “Even as they roll out better services, tech firms face regulatory and policy challenges that require us to provide solutions which work for both citizens and sellers. Based in Washington DC, Clauser will drive thought leadership and client service for the world’s leading technology brands in areas of cybersecurity, supply chain security, data privacy, cross-border data flow, and trust. Previously, Mike was Head of Government Affairs at Analog Devices Inc., the leading mixed-signal semiconductor company with headquarters in Massachusetts; prior to that he held leadership roles in at Fujitsu Limited, the top Japanese ICT services firm. In those roles, he served on the boards of both the Information Technology Industry Council and the United States Information Technology Office (USITO). Earlier in his career, Mike served as a Presidential Appointee in the Pentagon, a national security aide in the U.S. House of Representatives, and is an Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve with active and reserve experience, including at U.S. Africa Command.
