On the back of SpaceX recently filed coordination requests for 30,000 satellites, Access Partnership’s Managing Director Greg Francis spoke to Policy Tracker on the filling procedure for Mega-NGSO:

“There’s a lot of self-regulation built into the international satellite system. If you file a mega-constellation, the government generally has a due diligence process that makes sure it doesn’t embarrass itself or make a filing that’s not workable.”
