Dr. Noura Almutairi received her Law degree with distinction from Kuwait University in 2011. While studying for her LLM in Private Law at Kuwait University, she joined Kuwait International Law School (KILAW) as a Teaching Assistant in 2013. Dr. Almutairi taught many subjects at KILAW, including E-commerce and Civil law. She got the award from the prince of Kuwait, Sabah IV Ahmad Al-Jabber Al-Sabah, for the highest GBA among LLM students.
Dr. Almutiari was accepted for a scholarship from Kuwait University to complete a doctoral study in Britain. She received her PhD Award from Dundee University in November 2021. Her thesis was on “The Right to Privacy under Kuwaiti Law: Towards Strengthening it Against Private Companies and Ensuring Civil Liability for its Breach”.
Dr Almutairi is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Kuwait University, School of Law, Private Law Department, where her research interests include AI, IP Law, the right to privacy (Informational privacy), and the tort liability of tech companies.
