Elia is an Associate at Asia Group Advisors, an Access Partnership company, and is based in our Malaysia office. He specialises in regulatory issues within the tech, content, payment, healthcare, and sustainability sectors.​

Prior to Access Partnership, he worked in a public policy consulting firm where he advised regional clients on topics ranging from healthcare to FMCGs. He has notably supported clients during Malaysia’s 2023 six-state elections, worked to prevent a regulatory ban on a client’s product, and provided comprehensive regulatory assistance to various clients.​

Elia’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the International Islamic University Malaysia, with specialisations in Intellectual Property Law, Copyright Law, and Banking Law. In his free time, he also trains youths in competitive debating and public speaking, educating them on various topics ranging from politics, economics, international relations, and philosophy.
