Meet Ethan

Ethan works as a Manager in the Data Governance team. He specialises in African tech policy issues, contributing to various projects aimed at increasing access to the benefits of technology in the region. This involves advising regional instruments, the private sector, and governments through expert submissions, technical assistance, facilitating multistakeholder engagements, and risk identification.

Additionally, Ethan holds positions as the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) Vice Rapporteur for ICT and the Environment and is the Capacity Building and Community Engagement Co-Lead at the Innovation Law Club Africa. He also served as the Internet Society’s United Nations IGF Global Youth Ambassador.

With a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Law, Ethan is a consummate advisor on ICT policies and nation-building structures: authoring a book chapter, multiple publications, and delivering keynote addresses.

Ethan is from Zimbabwe and is based out of AP’s London office.
