Meet Gideon

Gideon brings two decades of experience and relationships to work for clients at the intersection of technology and public policy. Based in San Francisco, he previously led California operations for the public policy advisory firm Monument Advocacy and spent nearly a decade as a senior executive at TechNet, the tech trade association and CEO political network.

Gideon is passionate about social justice, advancing racial and LGBTQ+ equality and inclusion through his work with government, business, and civil society stakeholders. His current work includes 50-state coordination of criminal justice and racial equity reforms as an advisor to the start-up Taskforce. Addressing the distinct and underserved health needs of the LGBTQ+ community, Gideon also advises the telehealth platform EqualityMD. Active in his own community, Gideon has facilitated grant support for numerous LGBTQ+ non-profits as a philanthropic advisor to the EACH Foundation and promoted political participation of all stripes through his role with Drag Out the Vote.

Earlier in his career, Gideon worked in Washington, D.C. at the global public affairs and issues management consultancy APCO Worldwide, led national political operations at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), and served as a top political aide to congressional leadership, state attorneys general, and other officials.
