Jesus is a telecommunications engineer with over 25 years of experience in ICT regulation and technology, specialising in spectrum management, orbit-spectrum resources, and satellite and mobile market analysis.
Jesus brings with him notable expertise in satellite issues and the coordination process of Orbit-Spectrum resources, mainly through meetings between satellite operators and notifying administrations. He has participated in various regional (CITEL, CEPT, APT) and global meetings on the telecommunication and ICT sector, focusing on ITU working parties dealing with IMT (WP 5D), efficient Orbit-Spectrum utilisation for Fixed Satellite Services and Broadcasting Satellite Services (WP 4A); Efficient orbit/spectrum utilization for Mobile Satellite Service (WP 4C) and Radio astronomy (WP 7D).
Jesus has participated in ICANN’s multistakeholder model, including involvement in meetings of the country code Names Supporting Organization (ccNSO) and in the Government Advisory Committee (GAC).
Jesus has tutored face-to-face and online technical and regulatory courses on Mobile ad satellite Industry, Spectrum Management, and Satellite Communications. He has broad experience in partaking in all ITU World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRCs) since 2000.
