Marcus joined Access Partnership as a Director of Economics Strategy in July 2022. Prior to this, Marcus led the Deloitte Southeast Asia Economics Advisory practice that he established in 2017. He has over 15 years of economic analysis and public policy experience developed in roles with Deloitte Access Economics, Australia’s premier economics consultancy, and at central policy agencies: the Australian Treasury, and the Reserve Bank of Australia. He has served in the Australian Parliament as the Financial Services and Trade Adviser to the then-Assistant Treasurer and Minister for Financial Services, and has represented the Australian Treasury on a number of international G20 working groups and study groups. Marcus has been a regular presenter on the regional economic outlook, and on issues such as international trade, economic and industry development, and sustainability.
