Sydney is an Analyst at Asia Group Advisors, an Access Partnership company, and is based in our Malaysia office. She primarily works with clients in the tech, healthcare, sustainability, and gaming sectors, providing policy analysis and insights into regional developments in these subject areas. She also supports the development of advocacy campaigns throughout Malaysia, engaging closely with high-level government officials and industry partners to push for fair and competitive policies.
Before her time in Access Partnership, she worked in the social development sector in London, United Kingdom, specialising in public policy advocacy, research, and capacity-building. Most notably, she supported the Ukraine Judicial Training Programme, where she conducted literature reviews on Ukrainian war crimes adjudication and developed a legal training programme with a network of high court magistrates.
Sydney earned her Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from King’s College London, where she studied Human Rights Law, Criminology, and Public & Administrative Law. She also holds a Public Policy Analysis certificate from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
