Tra Huong Dang is a Senior Associate at Asia Group Advisors, an Access Partnership company, and is based in our Hanoi office. She specializes in government relations and public policy with a focus on technology, cybersecurity, and regulatory affairs. She advises multinational companies on navigating Vietnam’s evolving digital policy landscape, including data protection laws, cybersecurity regulations, licensing processes for tech businesses, and e-commerce compliance.

At Access Partnership, Tra provides strategic counsel to clients in digital services, fintech, and e-commerce, helping them engage effectively with policymakers and regulatory bodies. She leads client service teams in conducting regulatory reviews, drafting policy position papers, and developing advocacy strategies to address key policy challenges. Beyond regulatory engagement, Tra works on strengthening industry partnerships and coalitions, collaborating with think tanks, industry associations, and government agencies to shape policy discussions on emerging digital issues.

Before joining Access Partnership, Tra served as an Executive Assistant at the Ministry of National Defence – Multi-Battalion 11, where she managed external affairs and coordinated cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making. She also worked with the US-ASEAN Business Council, liaising with government agencies to advance trade and digital policy initiatives.

Tra holds a BA in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam. Based in Hanoi, she is fluent in English and Vietnamese and has been recognised for her leadership and contributions to international relations.
