As Senior Advisor for Vietnam, Albert brings with him over 20 years of experience in public diplomacy, government relations, project financing, corporate governance, and investment banking.


Throughout his career, Albert has built strong business relationships with international and local financial and non-financial institutions. He has served as an independent advisor for Japan’s largest banking group, successfully securing a half-billion US dollar banking facility for a local consortium to invest in Vietnam’s North-South Expressway project. Albert also served as the Executive Chairman of a joint venture with a Korean manufacturer of innovative construction materials, where he took charge of the company’s business expansion in Vietnam and the ASEAN region. He has advised several ASEAN investments banks on M&A opportunities in the renewable energy, securities, manufacturing, and real estate sectors.
Albert has a strong track record in good corporate governance and is a firm believer in the need for greater private sector participation in building the Vietnamese economy through public-private partnerships initiatives.
Albert has a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics & International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has also received intensive training in international conflict prevention, political lobbying, and negotiation from the Oxford Centre for Political and Diplomatic Studies in the UK.
