Arkan is an Associate at Asia Group Advisors, an Access Partnership company, and is based in our Jakarta office. He specialises in stakeholder engagement, building thought-leadership initiatives, and conducting policy analysis in the energy, manufacturing, sustainability and consumer goods sectors across Southeast Asia.
Before joining Asia Group Advisors, Arkan worked as a Policy Consultant for International Animal Rescue (IAR) Indonesia, where he built a coalition of renewable energy and nature conservation non-profits in advocating for Presidential Regulation No. 98/2021, Indonesia’s first regulation on carbon trading. He also gained experience working at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global management consulting firm.
His career started in Brussels, Belgium for a think tank focused on EU and Southeast Asia. He provided analysis on EU regulations on biopesticides and Indonesia’s first integrated deep sea-port-and-agricultural processing industrial estate project in North Sumatra
Arkan holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and International Economics from KU Leuven, Belgium and spent an exchange year at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
