With six years of experience in government affairs and regulatory policy, Hung brings deep expertise in legal frameworks and policy development across sectors including infrastructure, real estate, and now digital services and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
Hung supports multinational clients in navigating Vietnam’s regulatory landscape, enabling market entry and operational compliance for digital platforms and FMCG brands. He advises on legal and policy risks related to market access and commercial operations, and helps businesses develop tailored engagement strategies with relevant ministries and regulatory bodies.
Before joining Asia Group Advisors, Hung served at the Department of Public Asset Management under the Ministry of Finance. In this role, he contributed to the drafting and revision of key laws and decrees, including amendments to the Law on Housing and the Law on Real Estate Commerce, and led regulatory impact assessments for public asset and land use policies. He regularly advised government stakeholders and corporations on land financing, investor engagement, and infrastructure project development, including IPO preparations for state-owned enterprises.
Hung holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (Finance) from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in development economics from the National Economics University in Hanoi. Fluent in English and Vietnamese, Hung has been recognised for his outstanding service at the Ministry of Finance and brings a strategic, solutions-oriented approach to client engagement.
