Access Partnership’s Head of Data & Trust Mike Clauser spoke to Tech News World on Equifax data breach settlement: “Consumers should not bear the costs of computer crime, but neither should other crime victims, like the vendor. Ultimately, governments, vendors and consumers will need to find a way to shift costs ‘upstack’ to the criminal actor. I think over time, emerging technology, including AI, will make that a reality.”
