19 January 2021: TRP Demonstration Seminar Integrated transport data sharing for a whole country: Experience from Denmark

Date: 19 January 2021, 4:00 – 5:00 pm (HKT)

The Greater Copenhagen and the whole country are highly connected as the PTAs contribute to a nationwide journey planner and a travelcard, including all means of public transport. Keeping in mind that Denmark has 137 people per square km (versus 6880 in HK), moving people efficiently has different challenges than in Hong Kong, however, there are also interesting insights on transport and payment data integration relevant for us.

In this online seminar, Jens Willars, Chief Commercial Officer at Rejsekort & Rejseplan and Geert Vanbeveren, Siemens Mobility, will talk about the Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) system in Denmark and demonstrate how data is retrieved and analysed. They will also explain how the data sharing model between the different stakeholders works.
